The Da Vinci Science Center
is the home of WFMZ-TV Meteorologist Ed Hanna's popular "Weather, News,
and You" program in which Mr. Hanna will host school groups in the
Center and teach them about meteorology.
Mr. Hanna's 2007-2008 program schedule is as follows:
November 6, 13, 27
December 4, 11, 18
January 8, 15, 22, 29
February 5, 12, 19, 26
March 11, 18, 25
April 1, 8, 15, 22, 29
May 6, 13, 20, 27
The program will
begin at 11 a.m. and will last approximately 25-30 minutes.
When making a field trip reservation, please let us know that your group
is interested in seeing Ed Hanna while at the Da Vinci Science Center. Please
note that if you have a large number of students, not everyone will be able
to see his presentation.
When visiting the Da Vinci
Science Center, remember to visit
the "Weather Central" station in the "What
On Earth?" exhibit area, where young people get a chance to use some
of the same equipment that professional weather forecasters use and create
their own weather forecasts in a virtual television studio.
