PETER C. DENT RE-ELECTED CHAIRMAN OF
CENTER BOARD OF TRUSTEES

Peter C. Dent has been elected to a second two-year term as chairman of the Da Vinci Science Center's Board of Trustees, Frank Steslow, executive director and chief executive of?cer, announced today.

The board also has re-elected Henry T. Lyons Jr., former president and chief executive officer, H.T. Lyons, Inc., as treasurer. Dr. Kathryn C. Worrilow - assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology, Penn State University College of Medicine, and scientific director, In Vitro Fertilization Laboratory, Lehigh Valley Hospital and Health Network Muhlenberg - has been elected secretary.

The following individuals have been elected to three-year terms as trustees:

- John J. Armstrong, Esq., attorney, Air Products and Chemicals, Inc

- Ellen Baker Ghelardi, executive director of the Dexter F. and Dorothy H. Baker Foundation.

- Hon. Dean N. Browning, Lehigh County commissioner, who was elected as an ex-offcio trustee.

- Ed Hanna, chief meteorologist, WFMZ-TV and the AccuWeather Channel.

- Joseph B. Scheller, community leader and former chief executive officer, Silberline Manufacturing Company, who was elected to his second term.

- Dr. Thomas L. Seidenberger, superintendent of schools, East Penn School District.

Dent, vice president of business development for Electron Energy Corp., Landisville, Lancaster County, has been a Da Vinci Science Center trustee since 2003. He also is a former president and trustee of Leonardo da Vinci's Horse, Inc. - the organization that merged with the then-Discovery Center of Science and Technology in 2003 to form what is now known as the Da Vinci Science Center. Dent holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Lehigh University, and is the author of several published technical papers and training courses in magnetics, cryogenics, metrology, and high vacuum technologies. He speaks German fluently and conducts business in Italian and German. Dent and his wife, Kathleen, live in Allentown with their four children.
