EDUCATORS TO ENJOY FREE FAMILY VISITS
THIS SUMMER

A new Da Vinci Science Center promotion will let Lehigh Valley educators visit free this summer with their families.

Teachers and administrators who hold a valid school ID can make one free visit for themselves, another adult, and two children from May 26-Sept. 6 and will have an opportunity to meet a Da Vinci Science Center representative to learn more about the Center's programs.

Teachers and chaperones will be eligible for membership discounts when booking a class field trip, and teachers will receive a 10 percent discount every day on store merchandise. The discounted memberships must be purchased by teachers and chaperones on the day of their school field trip.

The new educator promotions were announced today as the Da Vinci Science Center released its 2009-2010 Science Program Guide for Schools. The printed guide will be distributed to school districts throughout the region, and a copy can be downloaded from the Center's web site at www.davinci-center.org.

The Science Program Guide, sponsored by Lehigh University's College of Education, features the Da Vinci Science Center's offerings for field trip workshops, After-School Science Labs (ASL), Visiting Science Labs (VSL), School Camp-ins, special events, and professional development programs.

Educators are encouraged to schedule their summer family visits in advance by calling the Da Vinci Science Center at 484.664.1002, Ext. 108.
