S pend a fun Saturday morning with your fellow Cub Scouts at the Da Vinci Science Center. All programs include hands-on workshops and time to explore the Center's cool exhibits.

Price is $13 per scout. Registration begins at 8:45 a.m. The program starts promptly at 9 a.m and concludes at 12 p.m. Scouts are encouraged to bring a lunch and spend the afternoon exploring the science exhibits. Domino's Pizza also will be available for Cub Scout groups.

Rocks rock!  Discover how rocks and minerals are used in everyday life.  Learn how to identify rocks by their hardness.  Discover how volcanoes work, and how they can make new land.  Make your own fossil to take home.

NEW! Map and Compass and Geography Belt Loops
Sat., March 5          
Earn both the Map and Compass and the Geography belt loops in one morning! Use our wall sized map to locate the continents and oceans and locate landforms using longitude and latitude. Use a compass to follow a map.

NEW! Rockets Activity
Sat., April 9
Build your own Estes Level 1 Rocket, then launch it at a future den or pack meeting.  UseNewton’s Third Law of Motion to understand the physics behind rocketry, while launching a stomp rocket and a chemistry powered rocket. (Note: There is an additional materials charge for this program of $10 per scout for the Estes Rocket and two engines).
