Calling all ingenious inventors! Come discover the science behind toys as you create your own. If you missed last year's popular program, this is your second chance! Have you ever wondered how some toys bounce, fly, spin, or glow in the dark? Explore the science behind the wonderful world of toys. Take them apart, put them together, and create your own. The possibilities are endless!

ock the Valley
Week of June 23-27 or Week of July 14-18
Become a geologist as you uncover hidden fossils. Learn about rocks, minerals and fossils while exploring the geology of the Lehigh Valley. Learn all about the Ring of Fire and plate tectonics while you make your own exploding volcano. Leave no stone unturned!

Science and Motion
Week of July 7-11 or Week of July 21-25
The universe, and everything in it, is continuously moving and changing. Explore how energy, forces, and motion affect everything around us through hands-on science experiments. Perform investigations with motion detectors. Spark your curiosity with electricity and plasma.

Strong Structures
Week of July 28-Aug. 1 or Aug. 11-15
Have you ever wondered how a building is made? How are building designs modified to account for factors like sinkholes, snow, wind, and earthquakes? How does a building design or model become the real thing? Investigate the fundamentals of engineering, materials, and design, and build your own model. Grab your hard hat and get ready to explore the science behind building!

Let's Experiment - WEEK OF AUG. 4 SOLD OUT
Week of Aug. 4-8 or Week of Aug. 18-22
Can't make up your mind which kind of science is for you? Find out by investigating just like a real scientist! Explore the different disciplines with experiments of all shapes and sizes. Learn about a fun and exciting kind of science each day, including biology, chemistry, physics, and more!

FTERNOON SESSIONS
Afternoon Explorers (Grade 3)

Younger campers will have a chance to experiment with all types of science with different age-appropriate activities every week. Activities will include swimming at Rodale Aquatic Center, visiting a college computer lab, exploring the exhibit floor, creating a take-home science t-shirt, appearances by guest speakers, and enjoying science and a movie.

Afternoon Investigators (Grade 4)
Older campers will be able to dig deeper into their favorite science with different in-depth, age-appropriate activities every week. Activities will include swimming, visiting a college computer lab, investigating the exhibit floor, creating a take-home science t-shirt, and appearances by guest speakers.
