Summer 2010 Science Camps

The Da Vinci Science Center announces proudly its Summer 2010 Science Camps, with will take place June 21-Aug. 27.

The summer 2010 camps will offer a wider variety of exciting programs than ever before. New for 2010 will be the inclusion of students entering seventh grade and kindergarten in the fall.

Campers entering kindergarten in the fall of 2010 may enroll in an afternoon session on selected weeks. Campers entering grades 1-7 may be enrolled in a morning session, an afternoon session, or both. All campers should bring their love of science and fun.

Morning Sessions
Morning Sessions are available weekdays from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. for campers entering grades 1-2, 3-4, and 5-7. Morning Session campers must bring a morning snack and a beverage.

Sessions for Children Entering Kindergarten
Sessions for children entering kindergarten are available on selected weekdays from 1-4 p.m. See descriptions on this page. Campers must bring a snack and a beverage.

Afternoon Sessions
Afternoon Explorers sessions for grades 1-4 and Afternoon Investigators sessions for grades 5-7 are available weekdays from 1-5 p.m.

Afternoon sessions are informal experiences during which campers experiment with Da Vinci Science Center scientists. Afternoon Session campers must bring an afternoon snack, a beverage, and sneakers.

Campers attending both a morning and an afternoon session must bring a morning snack and beverage, a lunch to eat from 12-1 p.m., an afternoon snack and beverage, and sneakers.

Weekly Activities - Afternoon Explorers and Afternoon Investigators
Creating science t-shirts: Monday afternoons.
Swimming at Rodale Aquatic Center: Thursday afternoons.
Environmental activities: One afternoon per week.
Guest presenters: As available.
Exhibit floor explorations.
